Modelled on a real oyster shell and made from 100% post-consumer plastic, these versatile vessels can serve as a bowl for keys, jewellery or little found treasures. Sophie Lanigan is an architectural designer, researcher and editor based in Sydney. Sophie's ‘Oysters are Forever’ shells celebrate the powerful filtration capability of these native bivalves that work to cleanse the sea.

Using 150g’s of recycled post-consumer plastic, or the equivalent of three milk bottles, these beautiful piece's serve as a reminder of the power of nature and the harm that plastic pollution can do.
